Wild Videomakers
Every Turtle Wants to Build Its Nest on the Beach Where It Was Born, Even at the Cost of Swimming Three Thousand Kilometers
The Night of the Turtles
It all begins with a big mess. Sofia posts a video, and that prankster Belva edits it his way and… the principal gets furious! But the trouble turns into an unexpected opportunity: to make amends, Sofia, Belva, and their friends Tommi and Zhenyi must participate in Nature on Stage, a competition for environmental documentaries. Thus, the Wild Videomakers are born, and their first destination is a bay in Puglia, where sea turtles go to lay their eggs. Between panzerotti and interviews with experts and fishermen, the kids will discover how turtles live, the threats they face, and how the Mediterranean has changed.
Wolves at Dawn
Autumn has arrived, and the Wild Videomakers, riding the success of their first documentary, set off again, this time aiming for the Alps. This time, they want to describe the life of wolves, which have been repopulating the mountains of Italy for some years now. With the help of park ranger Giuseppe, the kids gather information about the rich yet fragile life of the forest, the changing mountains, and the shrinking glaciers. All that’s left is to film the wolf family they’ve spotted traces of—easier said than done. Will they manage?
