The Law of the Jungle

Adventure

Before Mowgli arrived in the Jungle, another cub lived an extraordinary adventure.

In India, a Prince’s wedding is an event that makes the heavens tremble. The palace celebrates for three days and nights, but Asha, the panther, that night cannot jump through the fire hoops because she is giving birth to a cub. The little one, named Bagheera, is immediately taken from her mother to be gifted to the newlyweds. Bagheera grows up free to roam the many rooms of the palace, but panthers are not cats, and soon the cub becomes strong. When he finds himself locked in a cage, he looks for a way to escape. It will mark the beginning of a great adventure where, if he wants to survive, he will have to learn the law of the jungle…

  • The origin story of Bagheera, long before The Jungle Book took shape in the mind of Rudyard Kipling.
  • A story of growth, courage, and freedom that revisits a key character in children’s literature.
