Minerva has always known how to survive.

Between a tough neighborhood and a future that feels already written, her life is a delicate balance of wrong choices and responsibilities no girl her age should have to carry. But when Federico—with his green eyes and a past marked by pain—enters the picture, everything changes. He’s different: he sees through Minerva’s tough exterior and sparks something she thought she’d lost—hope. Between gang rivalries, heart-pounding chases, and choices that could change everything, Minerva will find herself fighting for something bigger: the chance at a new life—for herself and for the person she loves most.
