Hacker

Thriller

He just wanted to win over the girl of his dreams…
then his account was hacked!

After escaping a road accident, 15-year-old Raffaele is shaken: the car that almost ran him over missed him but hit the caretaker of his building, to whom he was very close. Raffaele is into computers, and decides to develop “Marlon 2”, a simplified AI through which he can keep the memory of the caretaker, Marlon, alive. Meanwhile his best friend Pao persuades him to try his hand at writing on a social media reading group, in order to win over Alina, the prettiest girl in school, and a passionate book lover. At first it doesn’t seem to work: Raffaele is a terrible writer. But his stories suddenly improve and take a dystopian turn, and Alina starts to get interested, because she loves science fiction. The problem is, he isn’t writing them himself: his account has been hacked. Who is pretending to be him? And why?
