Eligio and the Days of the Wheel
Coming of age
Love in its many forms – brotherly, passionate, sacred, universal.
Events take place over a period of about 100 years, around the establishment of the Hospice of Mercy, a historic building in Venice which, in the XVIII century, gave shelter to orphans and children who were abandoned in the ‘wheel’ or revolving door. Here, little Rosapineta gets to know and falls in love with Eligio, who was left by his mother shortly after his birth.
A chorale story in keeping with a literary tradition which boasts, amongst its most outstanding representatives, “Oliver Twist” by Charles Dickens.

Born in San Donà di Piave (VE), a graduate in Veterinary Medicine, and a full-time writer. He collaborated for several years with newspapers, magazines, and websites dedicated to road trips, focusing on the history and traditions of the United States. He has had a long-standing interest in Ufology, Paranormal Phenomena, Astronomy, Archaeoastronomy, and the History of the United States and Native Americans.
In addition to his love of animals, he has always cherished books since childhood. Like many people, one day he decided to write his own story.
