The Swan’s Mask

One morning, amidst the autumn mist, young Stevenson wanders the surroundings of Edinburgh, a city of forests, witches, and spirits, with his writer’s notebook. He is only fourteen, but he already nurtures the passion for adventure that will later fill his novels. Suddenly, he hears a hiss, and a stiletto gets embedded in the tree trunk next to him. This is how he meets two enterprising and fascinating twins: Jackie, with her confident demeanor and clear beauty, and Haide, quieter and more elusive. The two sisters address Stevenson: Someone is going to die, and we must prevent it. Are you one of us? Thus begins an adventure filled with mysteries, murders, and culprits.

The Endless Storm

An endless storm is battering the Edinburgh harbor, preventing ships from setting sail. Under the pouring rain, a macabre tale is terrorizing the city: three sailors have been found dead, with the soles of their feet peeled. Jackie and Haide Turner, daughters of the police inspector, and young Lewis Stevenson, future writer of adventure novels, are now a well-established trio. In their investigations, they come across a sailor who seems to know something about the murders, but soon he, too, is killed in the same strange and cruel manner… And if they are right, the mysterious killer will continue to pursue his victims, connected by a dark, unspeakable past, until he completes his revenge. Only Jackie’s deductive skills, Haide’s formidable intuition, and young Lewis’s courage can solve this case, where the power of the supernatural intertwines with the strength of terribly human emotions, to prevent anyone else from dying.

  • The mysteries of Scottish folklore creatures, the dark alleys of Edinburgh, and the mist of the moors, explored by three young detectives.
