I was born in Rome in 1982, just in time to witness the conquest of the second scudetto, rocked by the chants of the South Curve, in my little crib, wearing Falcao's jersey. Raised on bread and Roma, I work with art, books, and children, but every Sunday – rain or shine – I fly to the Olympic Stadium with my dad and my scarf around my neck.

Massimiliano Di Lauro

Massimiliano di Lauro, born in Trani in 1984, started his career in illustration after graduating in design from the Politecnico di Bari. He deepened his skills as a self-taught artist and through workshops with masters like Javier Zabala and Pablo Auladell. Since 2012, he has been publishing illustrated books translated into six languages and collaborating with Italian and international magazines and newspapers, including Boston Globe, Variety, and Corriere della Sera. Since 2015, he has worked with the studio "La Testuggine", winning the Migrarti award for the short film La nostra storia. He has participated in numerous exhibitions, including at the Triennale di Milano, and has been teaching illustration at the Pencil ART School in Bari since 2018.
