From 1934, with the football World Cup win, to 1945, Liberation Day, an Italian square watches History passing through.

This is a story of war, exclusion, losses. And, in the end, rebirth. A picture story of Liberation and the birth of the Italian Republic, told through the poetic gaze of a little girl.
