Alessandro Sanna

Alessandro Sanna, born in 1975 in Nogara (Verona), is a renowned illustrator and author of children’s books, winner of three Andersen Awards. After studying Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and earning a degree in Graphic Design, he has collaborated with numerous Italian and international publishers, illustrating both classic texts and works by contemporary authors. In 2020, he collaborated with Book on a Tree for the publication of Piazza 25 Aprile, written by Pier Domenico Baccalario. Sanna is known for his ability to experiment with different artistic techniques, from illustration to painting, and for his innovative and sensitive approach to storytelling through images. In addition to his editorial work, he is also active in education, leading drawing and creativity workshops for both children and adults.
