The Winds of Evil

Mystery

What would the stories we love be without the villains?

Twenty original tales in a book that aims to reconstruct the exact moment when the greatest villains in literature felt the bloom of evil within them, transforming into the most unsettling dark figures of all time. Dracula, the Boogeyman, Mr. Hyde, the Queen of Hearts, Long John Silver, the Fairy Morgana, Dr. Frankenstein, and many other villains. They are the ones who give dignity to the shadowy sides of the human soul and make us experience the strongest and most conflicting emotions; they teach us that there is only one “right path.”
To better understand them, and perhaps ourselves.

  • A complete overview of imaginary evil to save us from real evil.

  • The illustrations are by the master of Italian fantasy, Paolo Barbieri.
