Mariateresa Conte is originally from Taranto, where she was born in 1976. After earning her degree in Law, she developed a passion for the world of comics and, in 2001, won the B. Jacovitti scholarship for a Master's in Illustration at the IED in Milan. In 2011, she furthered her skills with a diploma in Creative Illustration at the IED in Barcelona.
